SACRAMENTO, Calif. (November 1, 2026) — FC Tulsa’s 2026 campaign came to an end on Sunday night in a 1-0 loss against Sacramento Republic FC in the Western Conference Quarterfinals at Heart Health Park.

Physicality was abundant in the opening 45 minutes with both sides looking to establish dominance early. The Scissortails appeared to have scored an opening goal in the 36th minute before it was called back by the head referee. Remi Cabral came close on a breakaway attempt but was denied off the line as the match remained scoreless at the break.

Sacramento came out of the locker room aggressive in the attack with a flurry of chances, but Dane Jacomen stood tall in net including a spectacular save on a bicycle kick attempt from Mark-Anthony Kaye in the 64th minute. The hosts would ultimately break through, however, as Blake Willey finished off a rebound in the 88th minute to break Tulsa hearts and put a lid on its 2026 season.

MATCH NOTES

• Logan Dorsey exited the match with an apparent leg injury in the 76th minute..
• Harvey St Clair made his first appearance for the Scissortails since July 18.

TULSA, Okla. (October 24, 2026) — FC Tulsa fell in its regular season finale on Saturday night in a 2-0 defeat against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC at Weidner Field.

It was a very physical and controversial first half with the referee getting involved early on. A hand ball from Ian Carlo Souza Daniel would give the Switchbacks a penalty which was converted by Khori Bennett. The Scissortails went up a man in stoppage time of the opening frame with Patrick Burner receiving his second yellow card for the hosts.

Despite controlling possession with a man advantage, Tulsa was unable to do much with it as the Switchbacks would double their lead in the 60th minute on a counter play from Sam Williams. The Black and Gold finished with just three shots on the night and head into the playoffs as the seventh seed.

MATCH NOTES

• Dane Jacomen finished the regular season with the lowest goals allowed average (0.90) by an FC Tulsa goalkeeper in club history.

NEXT UP: The Scissortails await their opponent for the postseason. They enter as the seventh seed in the Western Conference looking to defend their crown.

LEXINGTON, KY (October 9, 2026) — FC Tulsa earned a hard fought road point against Lexington SC in a scoreless affair on Friday night in the Bluegrass State. The Scissortails recorded their 12th clean sheet in league play, extending the club record, and 14th clean sheet across all competitions.

The hosts controlled the flow of the match early on, holding 67 percent of the possession in the opening 45 minutes. They were not able to convert that momentum into meaningful attacking chances, however, as the Scissortail back line continued its first half defensive prowess.

Lexington continued to threaten in the second half, tallying 12 shots in the frame. Only two were on target though as Dane Jacomen continued his dominant play between the sticks with his eighth clean sheet of the regular season.

MATCH NOTES

• Dane Jacomen has recorded eight clean sheets in the 2026 regular season and nine across all competitions, both the second most by a Tulsa keeper in a single season.
• After tonight’s draw, FC Tulsa’s magic number is down to three points to clinch a playoff spot. They can do so tomorrow with a loss from Las Vegas Lights FC against Phoenix Rising FC.

NEXT UP: The Scissortails are back at ONEOK Field on Saturday, October 17 as they take on Oakland Roots SC at 7:00 p.m. in their home regular season finale. TULSA, Okla. (October 3, 2026) — A late free kick from the visitors forced FC Tulsa to settle for a 1-1 draw against Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday night at ONEOK Field.

Both teams came out aggressive with the visitors perhaps too much so as Lucas Stauffer was able to draw an early penalty in the ninth minute that was converted by Arquímides Ordóñez to slot Tulsa ahead early. Neither side mustered much offensively the rest of the half as the Scissortails’ back line excelled defensively on the ball.

Sacramento came out of the locker room determined to equalize in the second half, controlling 65 percent of the possession. Tulsa held on for most of the frame, but a free kick in the 89th minute just squeaked past Dane Jacomen to salvage a point for the visitors and force the Scissortails to wait out their postseason dreams at least another week.

MATCH NOTES

• Ordóñez’ goal was his fourth of the regular season for FC Tulsa.
• Boubacar Diallo made his first start for the Scissortails in 2026.
• Owen Damm started his first match since May 16 against Corpus Christi FC.

MATCH QUOTES

Head coach Luke Spencer: “Overall, I feel really good about the two games this week for a lot of different reasons. Considering the two opponents that we played, getting results in both of those games is very important at this time of the year. I’m also proud of the performance. They’ve been very collective and together, and I can’t fault the effort, so that’s the most important thing for us. We’re certainly not done. We want more, and we’ll get back to the drawing board.”

Defender Abdoulaye Cissoko: “We knew already at the beginning of the week that this game would be physical. When we saw their lineup, it was clear they would play with two strikers. I think we did well in the matchup until the end of the game. Unfortunately, we were not able to keep the clean sheet.”

Forward Arquímides Ordóñez: “I think in our upcoming games, we just need to continue setting the tempo. We need to keep playing to our physicality and our speed and make sure that we’re a very aggressive team. If we do that on a consistent basis, the results will follow.”

NEXT UP: FC Tulsa hits the road next Friday night as they travel to face Lexington SC at 6:30 p.m. at Lexington SC Stadium. The match will be broadcast on CBS Sports Golazo Network and streamed on Paramount+.

TULSA, Okla. (September 30, 2026) — An early goal from Will Wilson was all FC Tulsa needed on Wednesday night to take down New Mexico United 1-0 at ONEOK Field and pick up a massive three points against a Western Conference foe.

The visitors controlled much of the possession early on, holding 79 percent of the ball in the opening 45 minutes. The Scissortails were patient on the counter and capitalized with high pressure in the 19th minute as Jeorgio Kocevski intercepted a pass and flicked the turnover onto Logan Dorsey. His initial shot was saved, but Wilson was there to clean it up and give Tulsa a lead it would not relinquish.

FC Tulsa recorded its 11th clean sheet of the regular season in tonight’s victory, setting a new club single season record. Dane Jacomen came up big with six saves on the night, tying a season high, including a key double save in the first half to keep the visitors off the score sheet.

EL PASO, Texas (September 25, 2026) — FC Tulsa held on late defensively to secure a much-needed road point in a 1-1 draw against current Western Conference leaders El Paso Locomotive FC on Friday night at Southwest University Park.

The Scissortails were quick to strike out the gate as a nifty attacking sequence was capped off by Jeorgio Kocevski finding the head of Logan Dorsey in the eighth minute for an early lead. The Tulsa advantage would not last long, however, as a poor back pass was pounced on by the hosts nine minutes later to level the match. El Paso dominated the ball in the first half with 74 percent of possession, but the score remained knotted up at the break.

The hosts attempted to push for a match winner in the second half, but Tulsa showed up defensively, allowing just 0.13 expected goals in the frame with Dane Jacomen not given too much to deal with. The best chance in the half for either side was a late free kick from Stefan Lukic that was just left of the post from more than 30 yards out. Ultimately, neither side found a breakthrough as they split the points on the evening.

MATCH NOTES

• Dylan Borczak made his FC Tulsa debut tonight, logging 61 minutes.
• Logan Dorsey’s goal and Jeorgio Kocevski’s assist were their fourth in those respective categories of the regular season.
• FC Tulsa finishes Friday night in a tie for third place in the Western Conference with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (September 19, 2026) — Two second half goals from the hosts forced FC Tulsa to settle for just a point in a 2-2 draw against Brooklyn FC at Maimonides Park on Saturday evening.

The hosts were quickly handicapped by an early red card in the 17th minute. The Scissortails cashed in after this with Wilson Eisner squeaking through a shot from outside the box in the 29th minute to give Tulsa the lead. That advantage was then doubled in the 37th minute as Jeorgio Kocevski found the head of Delentz Pierre who snuck the ball under the crossbar to make it 2-0 going to the locker room.

A 10-man Brooklyn side came out more aggressive in the second half, and it paid off with a long ball one-on-one opportunity cutting their deficit in half in the 63rd minute. A late foul from Giordano Colli just on the edge of stoppage time then set the table for the hosts to tie the match in the 92nd minute and deal a blow to the Scissortails’ hopes of playoff soccer at ONEOK Field.

MATCH NOTES

• Wilson Eisner recorded his first goal in a Tulsa kit tonight.
• Delentz Pierre’s goal and Jeorgio Kocevski’s assist were their third in those respective categories of the regular season.
• This is the first time that FC Tulsa has allowed multiple goals in back-to-back regular season games since August 2025.

TULSA, Okla. (August 29, 2026) — An early goal from Jeorgio Kocevski in the eighth minute was the difference as FC Tulsa took down Rhode Island FC 1-0 on Saturday night at ONEOK Field.

The Scissortails came flying out the gate with some exquisite passing sequences including one in the eighth minute which saw Remi Cabral flick a ball onto Kocevski who slotted it home to give Tulsa an early lead. The visitors had the higher share of possession in the period and more shots but were unable to break through in the opening 45 minutes.

Rhode Island continued to look for answers in the second half, but Dane Jacomen was up for the task with six saves on the night. The Tulsa back line did the rest of the work to see out the 1-0 victory and secure their tenth win of the regular season.

MATCH NOTES

• Jeorgio Kocevski’s goal was his second of the season with Cabral’s assist being his first.
• Dane Jacomen recorded his fifth shutout of the regular season, giving him the club lead for 2026. It was also his sixth across all competitions, the fourth most by a Tulsa keeper in a season.
• Will Wilson and Wilson Eisner made their home debuts for FC Tulsa tonight.
• Club captain Abdoulaye Cissoko made his 50th appearance for FC Tulsa across all competitions tonight.

MATCH QUOTES

Head coach Luke Spencer: “I’m proud of the performance. I thought we executed everything we needed to and weathered some storms. We knew we were going to have to. That’s the game, and they’re a good opponent. I still think there’s another level we can get to, so we’re going to stick to our process, review the film and prepare for the next game.”

Midfielder Jeorgio Kocevski: “I try to get on the score sheet as much as possible, and I feel like it’s been a while, so a little bit of relief. I can’t thank the guys around me enough. It was a great combination and great awareness from everyone, and it worked out. All that comes from lots of training on the training ground, working together and getting those one and two touch flicks around the corner down. The chemistry between the guys in the front half is starting to click, and we’re seeing the benefits of it.”

Goalkeeper Dane Jacomen: “It was a hard fought match. We pride ourselves on making this a difficult place for teams to come and play, and I feel like we achieved that tonight with the intensity and togetherness that we played with. Things we’ve been working on in training came out in the match tonight. I think we grew as the match went on and ultimately did enough for the win, but as always, we just grow from here.”

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (August 15, 2026) — FC Tulsa fell to New Mexico United 1-0 at Isotopes Park on Saturday night after conceding a late penalty.

After the hosts created some early chances, the Scissortails dictated much of the flow for the first half. An apparent goal from Logan Dorsey was called back in the 26th minute, but he and the rest of the Tulsa attack continued to press the New Mexico back line but were unable to break through.

The hosts came out of the locker room the more aggressive side and began to test Tulsa’s defense, but Dane Jacomen and Co. were able to withstand much of the pressure. However, a penalty in the 83rd minute would find the back of the net to hand the Scissortails their second consecutive 1-0 defeat.

Tulsa was without Lamar Batista tonight due to yellow card accumulation which saw Delentz Pierre take his spot in the eleven. Will Wilson also made his club debut as a second half substitute.

The Scissortails hit the road again next weekend as they head to California to face Western Conference leaders Orange County SC on Saturday, August 22 at Championship Soccer Stadium at 9 p.m. CT.

FC Tulsa is back in action at ONEOK Field on Saturday, August 29 as it takes on Rhode Island FC at 7:30 p.m. in an interconference clash. Tickets are available at fctulsa.com/tickets or by calling 918-727-2231. The match will be broadcast on Tulsa CW and streamed on ESPN+.

TULSA, Okla. (August 8, 2026) — FC Tulsa dropped points to Detroit City FC 1-0 at ONEOK Field on Saturday night in a matchup of three seeds in the USL Championship.

The first half was one of the rare occasions where the Scissortails outpossessed their opponent with 57 percent of the ball. Tulsa created its fair share of attacking threats but could not find the back of the net with neither side tested the keepers with a shot on target.

The visitors woke up out of the locker room with an unfortunate deflection setting up a go-ahead strike for Detroit. Tulsa pushed time after time for an equalizer but could not find the final pass as the club’s four-match shutout streak came to an end.

“The biggest thing we have to do is be able to get those relationships right and punish teams when we have the opportunity,” midfielder Giordano Colli said. “We need to put teams away when we can when we have a lot of momentum. That starts on the training pitch. We just need to keep working hard to create those relationships.”

The Scissortails’ club-record shutout streak of 441 minutes was snapped tonight along with its streak of four clean sheets for goalkeeper Dane Jacomen. Forward Remi Cabral returned to action for the first time since June 20 as a second half substitute but could not steer a shot on net.

“Tonight was a tough result,” Jacomen said. “I think the effort was there from the guys. There’s a lot to learn from the match. It’s the same as usual – whether it’s a win or loss, we just stick to our process and move on from there.”

The Black and Gold head west for a crucial two-match road trip with a pair of top four clubs in the Western Conference waiting for them. They face off with New Mexico United on August 15 and Orange County SC on August 22.

“I think it’s about staying true to our process,” head coach Luke Spencer said. “No game is easy in this league, and we know the opponent that New Mexico is, so it’s about preparing the best we can this week.”
