MT. PLEASANT, S.C. (June 13, 2026) — Five unanswered goals by Charleston Battery doomed FC Tulsa in a 5-1 defeat Saturday night at Patriots Point.

Tulsa struck early with a familiar cadence as midfielder Jamie Webber found the feet of forward Remi Cabral on the break as the Frenchmen slotted the Scissortails ahead in the 15th minute. The lead for the Black and Gold was short-lived, however, as the Battery responded with two goals of their own in the next four minutes. They tacked one more on in stoppage time of the first half to head to the locker room with a 3-1 advantage.

It was more of the same for the hosts in the second half as two more goals padded their lead. Tulsa recorded eight shots in the period but could not find the back of the net as the Scissortails had their five-match league unbeaten streak snapped.

Cabral’s goal was his fourth of the regular season and eighth across all competitions. Webber’s assist was his fourth across all competitions as he connected with Cabral for the second consecutive match.

TULSA, Okla. (June 6, 2026) — Two second half crosses from San Antonio FC found the back of the net to snap FC Tulsa’s seven-match unbeaten streak across all competitions on Saturday night in 2-1 fashion at ONEOK Field in the Prinx Tires USL Cup.

The Scissortails came out of the gate flying with numerous attacking threats before forward Remi Cabral finished on the counter in the 18th minute to put the hosts up early. Tulsa finished the half with five shots on target, but the lead remained at one after 45 minutes of action.

The visitors responded quickly in the second half as they steered home a header in the 51st minute to level the match. Things got tougher for Tulsa in the 80th minute when defender Ian Carlo Souza Daniel received his second yellow card and brought the Scissortails down to 10 men. This would lead to a match winner in stoppage time in San Antonio as Tulsa now can only hope to advance in the USL Cup by finishing as the best second place team.

Cabral has scored in all three USL Cup matches for FC Tulsa this season as midfielder Jamie Webber also notched his second assist of the group stage. Forward Logan Dorsey also made his club debut in the 60th minute of tonight’s match.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (May 30, 2026) — FC Tulsa extended its league unbeaten streak to five on Saturday night in a scoreless draw against Las Vegas Lights FC at Cashman Field.

Neither side created many attacking chances in the first half as both defenses sniffed out any threats. The best chance came from defender Ian Carlo Souza Daniel in the middle of the box in the 40th minute, but the shot was sent straight at the keeper.

Things picked up a bit in the second half with substitutions from both clubs livening the match. Despite the Lights recording nine of their 11 shots in the frame, none of them could beat goalkeeper Alex Tambakis who recorded his third consecutive shutout across all competitions as Tulsa has held opponents scoreless over its last 335 minutes played.

Tambakis earned his 61st clean sheet in the USL Championship tying the league record held by Sacramento Republic FC’s Danny Vitiello. Defender Grant Robinson also made his first start for FC Tulsa and aided that effort.

Tonight’s result lifts FC Tulsa to third in the Western Conference standings as the club continues to round into form as the summer months near. The seven-match unbeaten streak across all competitions is tied for the third longest in club history for the Black and Gold.

TULSA, Okla. (May 22, 2026) — In a chippy affair, FC Tulsa continued its excellent form with a 2-0 win over Hartford Athletic on Friday night at ONEOK Field. Tonight’s victory is the club’s fourth straight across all competitions.

The visitors controlled the pace of the match early on, outshooting the Scissortails 8-2 in the opening 45 minutes. Against the run of play, however, the hosts caught a break as a handball sent midfielder Jamie Webber to the penalty spot where he put the Black and Gold on top in the first minute of stoppage time.

Tulsa’s defense was the story of the second half as the back line built a wall in front of goalkeeper Alex Tambakis. Despite Hartford controlling 75 percent of the possession in the frame, the clean sheet remained intact for the 60th of the Greek international’s league career, the second most in USL Championship history.

“I’m really proud of the guys,” head coach Luke Spencer said. “I thought it was a complete performance. I don’t think we gave up much. We defended really, really well and together. It was nice to see the personality and the passion come out down the stretch. I think apart from the first 20 minutes of the game, we were really committed to the performance.”

The Scissortails were able to double their lead in the 61st minute as a long throw from defender Grant Robinson found the feet of forward Bruno Lapa. The Brazilian winger was then able to connect with defender Alonzo Clarke who headed home his first career Tulsa goal to punctuate an interleague victory in front of a vibrant home crowd.

“I was hanging out at the back post and realized that the guy marking me was a little bit undersized,” Clarke said. “I knew if I could peel off his back shoulder, the ball might come to me. I crashed the six, and Bruno found me.”

This was Clarke’s first professional goal of his career while Lapa recorded his first assist of the regular season. Midfielder Zion Siranga also made his home club debut, the fifth youngest Tulsa player to do so.

The win tonight came without many of the usual suspects for FC Tulsa as the club continues to deal with injuries, but the Black and Gold were still able to extend itswin streak across all competitions to four matches, the second longest streak in club history. They will have a chance to match their longest ever streak next Saturday night in Sin City against Las Vegas Lights FC.

“It’s a special feeling when it doesn’t matter who the coach puts out there,” defender Lamar Batista said. “We’re growing more comfortable and confident. We train hard everyday, and everyone does the same exact thing. We just try to keep making each other better.”

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (May 16, 2026) — Another late goal from Remi Cabral lifted FC Tulsa to a 1-0 road victory over Corpus Christi FC on Saturday night in the group stage of the Prinx Tires USL Cup.

The Scissortails seemed poised to find an early goal with several attacking threats but could not find the back of the net. Six shots on goal in the opening 45 minutes were all saved as the match was scoreless at the break.

The hosts controlled the flow of the match out of the locker room to start the second half with several chances testing goalkeeper Alex Tambakis who finished with four saves on the night. Things became chippy as well with 34 combined fouls and 12 yellow cards issued.

In the 80th minute, Tulsa finally found a breakthrough as midfielder Jamie Webber slid a ball perfectly into the path of forward Remi Cabral who came on as a substitute 20 minutes prior. The Frenchman slotted it home as he has done all season to capture the lead and the full three points for Tulsa in the Lone Star State.

Cabral has now scored four goals in his last four matches across all competitions with this being his third off the bench on the season. Tonight also marked the club debut of defender Grant Robinson after he was signed to a 25-day contract on Thursday.

This is Tulsa’s third win in Texas this season in three tries with each victory coming in a different competition. The Scissortails finished their three-match road trip with three victories as they prepare to resume league play next week.

SEASIDE, Calif. (May 3, 2026) — Two early second half goals for FC Tulsa were enough to secure a 2-1 road victory over Monterey Bay FC on Sunday evening at Cardinale Stadium.

The Scissortails seemed poised to find an early goal with several attacking threats that didn’t result in shots on target. The hosts took advantage of this misfortune and capitalized on a long cross in the 25th minute to take the lead.

Tulsa came out of the gate blazing in the second half and were rewarded with a penalty kick three minutes in after defender Lucas Stauffer was taken down on the edge of the box. Forward Jamie Webber capitalized with a rocket into the top right corner in the 49th minute to level the match at a goal apiece.

Tulsa kept the pressure on looking to find a match winner and did so in the 57th minute as midfielder Jeorgio Kocevski slotted home a laid off ball from fellow midfielder Bailey Sparks to push the Black and Gold in front. Monterey Bay pushed for an equalizer of their own but were held without a shot on goal in the second half as the Scissortails made it six points earned on their Western road trip.

Webber’s penalty was the 500th goal scored for FC Tulsa across all competitions. Kocevski’s match winner just eight minutes later helped the Scissortails bring their yearly tally to seven points recovered from winning positions in league play, the most in the USL Championship this season.

EL PASO, Texas (April 29, 2026) — If you’re going to find your finishing boots, you might as well do it in the Boot Capital of the World.

FC Tulsa rode a second half wave to a 4-1 victory over El Paso Locomotive FC on Wednesday night at Southwest University Park for their second win of the USL Championship regular season.

Things got hairy for the hosts early as a red card in the 11th minute put Tulsa up a man. Chances were pretty even through the first half, but the Scissortails were able to capitalize right before the break as midfielder Jeorgio Kocevski found the head of forward Remi Cabral in the second minute of stoppage time.

That goal from the Black and Gold appeared to fire up El Paso who dominated possession to begin the second half and converted a well-deserved penalty kick to level the match at a goal apiece. Their lead would last all of 99 seconds, however, as Cabral did his best high kick routine for his second goal of the match becoming the first Tulsa player with multiple goals in a match this season.

The Scissortails were able to extend their lead in the 73rd minute on a near identical goal to their first with a pair of substitutes connecting as forward Kalil ElMedkhar put a ball in the six-yard box that was finished off by fellow forward Nelson Pierre for his first goal of the regular season. ElMedkhar then decided to get in on the fun himself as he slotted home another ball from Kocevski in the 84th minute to seal the deal.

Cabral’s brace brought him up to three goals in the regular season and five across all competitions, both team highs. Kocevski, meanwhile, became the first Tulsa player with multiple assists in a match this season. The night also saw two season debuts for the Scissortails with midfielder Giordano Colli making his return from injury and midfield Academy product Zion Siranga making his club debut just two days before his 18th birthday.

TULSA, Okla. (April 25, 2026) — FC Tulsa found a second half equalizer against One Knoxville SC but could not overcome dropping down to 10 men as they came out on the wrong end of a penalty shootout in 1(3)-1(2) fashion on Saturday night at ONEOK Field in its opening Prinx Tires USL Cup group stage contest.

The visitors came out aggressive in the attack early on and created some problems for the host. Knoxville ultimately found the back of the net in the 36th minute off a deflection after a couple of saves from Tulsa goalkeeper Alex Tambakis.

The hosts responded well in the second half with a pair of halftime substitutions – midfielder Bruno Lapa and defender Harvey St Clair – igniting the side. The progression in the attack finally in a 73rd minute equalizer as a bouncing ball in the box found the foot of forward Remi Cabral who knotted things up at one.

“We just had to continue to do what we’ve been working on,” Lapa said. “We had conversations at halftime that we were going away from who we are, and I think we found the rhythm and created better chances to put ourselves back into the game. Moving forward, this is something that we should build on and improve.”

Tulsa seemed poised to push for a match winner but were forced to sit back after defender Lamar Batista received his second yellow card in the 78th minute. Tambakis made a few saves in the penalty shootout, but they proved to not be enough as the Scissortails were forced to settle for a point.

“I think we struggled in the first half but had a positive response in the second half,” Head Coach Luke Spencer said. “We were way better on the ball in the second half, and we felt that a goal was coming, so we had all the momentum in that moment. Then, we go down a man, so that changes things, but I’m proud of the fight the group showed in the end.”

Cabral found the back of the net for the third time across all competitions in 2026. This is the second consecutive shootout loss against the defending USL League One champion One Knoxville SC for FC Tulsa with the last one also featuring a red card from Batista.

The Black and Gold hit the road next week for two key Western Conference clashes as they travel to west Texas to take on El Paso Locomotive FC on April 29 before heading to California to face Monterey Bay FC on May 3.

“We have to keep pushing hard. and we know we have to play better,” Tambakis said. “The good thing is we have a quick turnaround now to Wednesday. We have to forget about this game and move forward to play on Wednesday and win the game.”

OAKLAND, Ca. (April 18, 2026) — FC Tulsa took advantage of a ten-man Oakland Roots SC squad and secured a 1-1 draw on the road Saturday night at the Oakland Coliseum.

The Scissortails found themselves in an early hole after a header off a long diagonal ball from the hosts in the fourth minute created an immediate uphill climb. Tulsa failed to create many threatening chances offensively but received some help when Oakland went down to ten men in stoppage time right before the break.

This lifeline energized the Black and Gold who came out of the locker room with a flurry of attacking threats to begin the second half. Both midfielder Jeorgio Kocevski and forward Stefan Lukic hit the woodwork in the opening ten minutes of the period, but it was clear that a goal seemed inevitable.

That sentiment paid off in the 70th minute as midfielder Owen Damm connected with forward Bailey Sparks who headed home the cross to level the match. More chances came for the Scissortails late in the match to find a winner, but ultimately, they had to settle for a point in their first road USL Championship match in 42 days.

Sparks found the back of the net for the second time this season while Damm also logged his second assist, both the first Tulsa players to record multiple of either statistic in league play this season. Tonight was the sixth matchup between Tulsa and Oakland with the home team still never recording a victory in the series.

St. Louis, MO. (April 15, 2026) — FC Tulsa were bounced in the Round of 32 of the U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday night at the hands of St. Louis CIty SC at Energizer Park in 4-0 fashion.

The Scissortais created some early attacking threats within the opening 10 minutes but couldn’t capitalize. The hosts then responded with a strike from the top of the box in the 20th minute and another off a route one clearance in the 36th to head into the locker room up a pair.

It was more of the same in the second half for St. Louis as a superb free kick pushed their lead to three. A red card from Tulsa defender Lucas Stauffer didn’t help matters for the Scissortails as another late strike from outside the box finished things off to send the hosts to Chicago for the Round of 16.

Goalkeeper Dane Jacomen made seven saves on the evening, tied for his most on the season (3/18/26 vs. Little Rock Rangers SC). Tonight was the fourth matchup for FC Tulsa against an MLS opponent in the Open Cup as the club still searches for its first such victory.
