LEXINGTON, KY (October 9, 2026) — FC Tulsa earned a hard fought road point against Lexington SC in a scoreless affair on Friday night in the Bluegrass State. The Scissortails recorded their 12th clean sheet in league play, extending the club record, and 14th clean sheet across all competitions.
The hosts controlled the flow of the match early on, holding 67 percent of the possession in the opening 45 minutes. They were not able to convert that momentum into meaningful attacking chances, however, as the Scissortail back line continued its first half defensive prowess.
Lexington continued to threaten in the second half, tallying 12 shots in the frame. Only two were on target though as Dane Jacomen continued his dominant play between the sticks with his eighth clean sheet of the regular season.
MATCH NOTES
- Dane Jacomen has recorded eight clean sheets in the 2026 regular season and nine across all competitions, both the second most by a Tulsa keeper in a single season.
