EL PASO, Texas (September 25, 2026) — FC Tulsa held on late defensively to secure a much-needed road point in a 1-1 draw against current Western Conference leaders El Paso Locomotive FC on Friday night at Southwest University Park.
The Scissortails were quick to strike out the gate as a nifty attacking sequence was capped off by Jeorgio Kocevski finding the head of Logan Dorsey in the eighth minute for an early lead. The Tulsa advantage would not last long, however, as a poor back pass was pounced on by the hosts nine minutes later to level the match. El Paso dominated the ball in the first half with 74 percent of possession, but the score remained knotted up at the break.
The hosts attempted to push for a match winner in the second half, but Tulsa showed up defensively, allowing just 0.13 expected goals in the frame with Dane Jacomen not given too much to deal with. The best chance in the half for either side was a late free kick from Stefan Lukic that was just left of the post from more than 30 yards out. Ultimately, neither side found a breakthrough as they split the points on the evening.

- Dylan Borczak made his FC Tulsa debut tonight, logging 61 minutes.
- Logan Dorsey’s goal and Jeorgio Kocevski’s assist were their third in those respective categories of the regular season.
