MATCH RECAP: FC Tulsa Held to 2-2 Draw in New York

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (September 19, 2026) — Two second half goals from the hosts forced FC Tulsa to settle for just a point in a 2-2 draw against Brooklyn FC at Maimonides Park on Saturday evening.

The hosts were quickly handicapped by an early red card in the 17th minute. The Scissortails cashed in after this with Wilson Eisner squeaking through a shot from outside the box in the 29th minute to give Tulsa the lead. That advantage was then doubled in the 37th minute as Jeorgio Kocevski found the head of Delentz Pierre who snuck the ball under the crossbar to make it 2-0 going to the locker room.

A 10-man Brooklyn side came out more aggressive in the second half, and it paid off with a long ball one-on-one opportunity cutting their deficit in half in the 63rd minute. A late foul from Giordano Colli just on the edge of stoppage time then set the table for the hosts to tie the match in the 92nd minute and deal a blow to the Scissortails’ hopes of playoff soccer at ONEOK Field.

Wilson Eisner recorded his first goal in a Tulsa kit tonight.
Delentz Pierre’s goal and Jeorgio Kocevski’s assist were their third in those respective categories of the regular season.
This is the first time that FC Tulsa has allowed multiple goals in back-to-back regular season games since August 2025.
