2023
Rashid Tetteh was inked to a contract ahead of the 2023 USL Championship regular season.
During the 2023 season, played in 31 matches, started in 25 and recorded 2,348 minutes of play. Tetteh ranked second on the team in both clearances (90) and interceptions 26. Additionally, he secured the top spot on the team in blocks (27). In defensive battles, Tetteh won 24 out of 39 tackles with a success rate of 61.5% and a passing accuracy percentage of 86%.
2019-2022 – New Mexico United (USL Championship)
Tetteh signed with New Mexico for the club’s inaugural USL-C season in 2019 to kick start his pro career and immediately became an impact player for the club. The Ghanaian appeared in 29 league matches and finished third on New Mexico’s roster with 2,570 minutes played. In postseason play, Tetteh played the entirety of New Mexico’s first-round contest at Sacramento Republic FC.
Over the subsequent three seasons, Tetteh cemented his spot along the New Mexico backline. The center-back bookended his time in Albuquerque with 83 regular season appearances and four additional U.S. Open Cup outings to boot.
2018 – Des Moines Menace (USL League Two)
During High Point’s offseason, Tetteh appeared five times total for the Menace in 2018 in League Two, known as the USL’s Professional Development League at the time.
2016-2017 – Carolina Dynamo (USL League Two)
Tetteh joined up with the Carolina Dynamo while still attending High Point during his collegiate offseason in 2016 and again in 2017. Over both stints, the defender made 22 total appearances.
College – High Point University
Tetteh was a four-year High Point man with 69 appearances from 2015 until graduating in 2018. He was named to the Big South All-Freshman team in 2015, the first of many Big South awards that would come his way. Over his collegiate career, Tettah was a Big South First Team All-Conference award winner in 2018, Big South co-Defensive Player of the Year and All-Big South First Team in 2017, and All-Big South Second Team in 2016.
