Forward Sammy Ochoa has signed a contract to join Sacramento Republic FC for the upcoming season.  Ochoa has spent the past two seasons with the Roughnecks, leading the club in scoring in each campaign.

The 30-year-old striker served as TRFC’s captain last year. 

“The change is a good situation for Sammy, as the move to California allows him to be nearer to family,” said TRFC Director of Football Operations David Irving.  “Sammy was a great representative of our club during his two years in Tulsa, and we wish him nothing but the best with his new club.  We will always consider him a Roughneck.”
