TULSA – On July 1, FC Tulsa will be celebrating Canada Day by participating in the 3rd annual Canada Day Poutine Eating Competition, hosted by Bodhi's Bowl. The FC Tulsa team will be joined by 83 United, Tulsa Lunatics, Tulsa Rumblers, ScotFest + GAC, Tulsa Fire Department, Tulsa Police Department, Tulsa Rugby Club, and Team Canada.
Last year’s competition, the first appearance for FC Tulsa, brought a 3rd place finish for the black and gold, bested only by the Rumblers and the Lunatics. The event starts at 5 p.m. at the Mother Road Market, with the competition beginning at 6 p.m..
Cabin Boys Brewery will be on hand with the FC Tulsa's new cerveza for fans to try, as well as other beers available for tasting. Attendees who are looking to pick up some FC Tulsa merchandise will be in luck, as FC Tulsa representatives will be manning a merchandise stand at the event. As a final cheese curd on top, Bodhi's Bowl poutine will be served for free for the whole night!
