TULSA, Okla. (May 19, 2026) — FC Tulsa goalkeeper Alex Tambakis earned a selection to the Prinx Tires USL Cup Team of the Round after his standout performance against Corpus Christi FC last Saturday.

Tambakis recorded his second clean sheet in a Tulsa kit with four saves on the night. Aided by the back line that featured Lucas Stauffer, Alonzo Clarke and Ian Carlo Souza Daniel, the long-time USL veteran stifled the Corpus Christi and launched the Scissortails into second place in Group 3 with a massive home clash with San Antonio FC looming on June 6 for a spot atop the table.

TULSA, Okla. (May 5, 2026) — FC Tulsa head coach Luke Spencer earned Coach of the Week honors for the USL Championship in Week 9 after two road victories against El Paso Locomotive FC and Monterey Bay FC. Remi Cabral, Jeorgio Kocevski and Ian Carlo Souza Daniel each were also selected to the Team of the Week for their performances.

Spencer notched his 11th and 12th road victories in his Tulsa coaching tenure, the most by a coach in club history. After struggling to finish off chances early in the regular season, the Scissortails scored six goals last week to more than double their yearly league total.

“I’m very proud of the team,” Spencer said after last Wednesday’s victory. “We’ve been working hard to improve in the final third, and to score four goals, I think it’s a byproduct of the work that we’ve been putting in but also staying true to the process. We’ve had games previously where we’ve hit the post and the crossbar. We’ve created a lot of chances but just hadn’t hit the back of the net. We knew a performance like that was coming, so I’m glad that we could execute.”

Cabral’s brace last Wednesday night in El Paso pushed his yearly totals to three goals in the regular season and five across all competitions, both team highs. He has scored at least one goal in all three competitions the club has played in 2026. 

“The guys have done a good job of letting me know what I need to do,” Cabral said. “I’m starting to get where I need to be and understand what the team needs from me to do our best.”

Kocevski became the first Tulsa player to record multiple assists in a game since Justin Portillo (April 5, 2024 vs. Phoenix Rising FC). The regular season leader in minutes played (719) for the Scissortails, the New York native has become more involved in the attack over the last few weeks and showcased that with the match-winning goal against Monterey Bay on Sunday.

“It builds a lot of confidence,” Kocevski said. “I think we see good things on the training pitch, and that’s why we’re all so confident that we have the goals in us. Gelling with the guys and getting more and more time to learn what each player likes has really helped me get more involved in the attack as well. The coaches trusting me to move up the field and provide like that is big for me and everyone.”

Across last week’s matches, Ian compiled six clearances while winning four of five tackles and 13 duels. He also chipped in the match-winning assist against El Paso while averaging 10.5 final third entries and 61.5 touches during the road trip.

TULSA, Okla. (April 21, 2026) — FC Tulsa defender Owen Damm earned a selection to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 7 after his standout performance against Oakland Roots SC last Saturday.

Damm was an active figure in the attack for the Scissortails creating a team-high four chances including the match-tying assist for Bailey Sparks’ header in the 70th minute. The 22-year-old was a constant presence on the ball with a team-high 83 touches along with three clearances and 14 completed passes in the final third.

TULSA, Okla. (April 8, 2026) — FC Tulsa midfielder Jamie Webber earned a selection to the U.S. Open Cup Team of the Round after his standout performance against San Antonio FC last Wednesday in the Second Round of the tournament.

Webber was active on both sides of the ball for the Scissortails in their 1-0 victory. He recorded a season-high four chances created while logging a team-high 77 touches. On the defensive end, he also logged three interceptions, won all four of his tackles and 12 duels to help keep the clean sheet.

Webber’s performance helped the club advance to the Round of 32 where they will take on Major League Soccer side St. Louis City SC at Energizer Park on Wednesday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. The match will take place at Energizer Park and will be streamed on Paramount+. The winner of this match will take on the winner of Detroit City FC and Chicago Fire FC in the Round of 16 on April 28 or 29.

TULSA, Okla. (March 24, 2026) — FC Tulsa’s Owen Damm earned a selection to the USL Championship Team of the Week after his standout performance against Las Vegas Lights FC last Saturday.

Damm smashed home the match-winning goal for FC Tulsa in the 82nd minute of their 3-2 win over Las Vegas at ONEOK Field. His strike was nominated for the USL Championship Goal of the Week, with voting open until Wednesday at 11 p.m.

“The ball set up to where I could shoot it first time,” Damm said about his winning goal. “I just needed to put my laces through it and make sure it was on target to give it a chance, and luckily, it went in.”

Damm also assisted Remi Cabral’s goal in the 61st minute to complete his first match with multiple goal contributions for the Scissortails. Through three league contests, the 22-year-old has created numerous attacking threats as he appears to be an important piece for Tulsa moving forward.
