TULSA – October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and FC Tulsa will kick off its final month raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. For its home match on Saturday, October 2 at ONEOK Field, FC Tulsa is offering a special $12 Endline ticket. While the ticket will already offer a savings of $8, FC Tulsa will donate $2 from every ticket sold to the Susan G. Komen Foundation which fights to find a cure for breast cancer.
In addition to the ticket offer, the first 1,000 fans to ONEOK Field on Saturday night will receive a special pink FC Tulsa rally towel courtesy of the presenting sponsor of the match, The Muscogee Nation.
“Throughout my time in college, I watched my mom battle breast cancer twice – all while she worked, attended all of my soccer games and was the best mom a son can ask for,” said FC Tulsa captain Bradley Bourgeois. “Ever since then, I’ve tried to help raise awareness for breast cancer by wearing pink cleats in October and by partnering with foundations aimed to fight against breast cancer. I’m grateful to FC Tulsa for raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research at Saturday’s match.”
Fans can purchase their special Breast Cancer Awareness tickets for Saturday’s FC Tulsa match vs. Memphis 901 FC today through Saturday. Kickoff for the match is scheduled at 7 p.m. CT.
