TULSA – FC Tulsa is proud to announce its first three official club community partners, presented by Bank of Oklahoma. Able Athletes, Food On The Move and UpliftEd have all partnered with FC Tulsa to support the club’s ongoing community efforts throughout Tulsa and allow for FC Tulsa to help spread the joy of pro soccer to each community.
“Partnering with incredible organizations in Able Athletes, Food On The Move and UpliftEd helps us continue to give back to the Tulsa community,” said FC Tulsa’s head of operations and fan engagement Wayne Farmer. “Like FC Tulsa, all three of these organizations work to make Tulsans lives better each and every day. We are proud to support each and look forward to continuing to work together growing Tulsa.”
By becoming FC Tulsa community partners, fans will be able to purchase and donate FC Tulsa matchday tickets to each organization. This will allow those within each organization the opportunity to experience an FC Tulsa match in person, who normally might not be able.
Rob Kaiser – Co-founder of Able Athletes
"We are so thankful for the amazing partnership of FC Tulsa within our Able Athletes Program. FC Tulsa has come out to support our practices, initiatives, and celebration. We are so thankful for their amazing partnership and truly showing up to support students and families or students who don't always have the opportunity to participate in afterschool programming or team athletics. We are so thankful for FC Tulsa and the help and support they have and continue to provide Able Athletes. They are truly a class act who go above and beyond to help all in the Tulsa community.”
Kevin Harper – Executive Director of Food On The Move
“Food On The Move is thrilled to partner with FC Tulsa! Focusing on establishing healthy life habits is critical to our mission to end food insecurity. FC Tulsa is an outstanding community partner helping us create innovative opportunities to get community members excited about healthy food and movement.”
Alisa Andrews – Founder and President of UplifEd
“As a fairly new nonprofit we are fortunate to partner with FC Tulsa to support teachers in personal ways, beyond their classrooms. FC Tulsa showing educators support in times of need means everything to teachers and their families.”
FC Tulsa is looking to continue to add community partners throughout 2021 and beyond. Fans interested in learning more about each of these organizations and how they can get involved in helping Tulsa can visit www.fctulsa.com/community-partners.
