TULSA – This Saturday, the Tulsa Dream League’s first tournament kicks off at the Tulsa Dream Center. With last month’s postponed match days, the tournament-style format promises a soccer-filled day of fun for the community. Formed from a partnership between FC Tulsa and the Tulsa Dream Center, the Tulsa Dream League is the first fully-funded North Tulsa elementary soccer league for boys and girls.
Matches begin at 8 a.m. and will go until 6 p.m., with most teams playing the bulk of their matches in the morning.
Along with soccer action from sun-up to sundown, the Tulsa Dream Center will be hosting guests from throughout the Tulsa community. Target will be on site with goodie bags and popsicles for the athletes and FC Tulsa has special gift for every single child playing in the Tulsa Dream League.
There will be a DJ, games for everyone to enjoy, as well as tents, tables, and waters for anyone looking to cool off. The “In All We Jerk” food truck will be at the Dream Center as well, offering delicious Jamaican food.
FC Tulsa staff and the boys team from Broken Arrow Soccer Club will be on hand helping organize the event, and FC Tulsa supporters group, 83 United will be out at the Tulsa Dream Center cheering on the teams.
The Tulsa Dream Center is located at 200 W. 46th St. N, Tulsa, OK 74126. All fans are invited to come out and support the Dream League on a fun and full day of youth soccer!
