
TULSA – There’s a newcomer ranking up with the USL Championship’s elite. FC Tulsa comes in at a stellar 3rd in the league’s Week 3 Power Rankings. Coming off a head-turning 2-0 victory at Indy Eleven, league-leading FC Tulsa is being recognized as one of the USL Championship’s best, just behind last season’s finalists, Phoenix Rising FC and Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Louisville City was leapfrogged by Tulsa, and now sits at #5. Louisville dropped one spot after a 1-1 home draw with Birmingham Legion FC. Last week’s opponent Indy Eleven dropped two spots down to #9.
Birmingham and Memphis stayed at #14 and #23, respectively. Birmingham played to the aforementioned draw and Memphis 901 FC have yet to kick off their season. Atlanta United 2 was idle in Week 3 as well, which saw them drop two spots to #26.
Rounding out the Central Division are Sporting KC II at #27 and OKC Energy at #30 out of 31 USL Championship teams. The pair battled to a 1-1 draw in Kansas City last weekend, each earning its first point of the season.
Tulsa is back in action next Wednesday, May 19, on the road against Atlanta United 2.
