
Nemanja Vukovic returns to Michael Nsien’s staff for the 2022 USL Championship season at FC Tulsa as an Assistant Coach. Vukovic is no stranger to Tulsa, having played under Nsien with the Tulsa Roughnecks in 2018 and serving as an Assistant Coach in 2019 and 2020.
Born in Titograd, Yugoslavia, “Vuko” had a professional soccer career that spanned over 15 years, including stints in the U.S. playing in MLS with Columbus Crew and in the USL Championship with Indy Eleven, Sacramento Republic FC and Tulsa.
While with Sacramento Republic in 2014, Vukovic won the USL Championship title and was named the league’s
Defender of the Year. He made the All-USL First Team in 2014, the All-USL Second Team in 2015. Vukovic played in the 2016 NASL Soccer Bowl with Indy Eleven in 2016, falling to the New York Cosmos in penalties.
