TULSA, Oklahoma (Wednesday, October 16th, 2019) – This Saturday Tulsa Roughnecks FC will host Reno 1868 FC in their final USL Western Conference match of the 2019 season. Kickoff from ONEOK Field (Tulsa, OK) is set for 3:00 P.M. CDT.
This USL Championship match will be the second time the two sides meet this season. The first match at Greater Nevada Field (Reno, NV) ended in a 2-2 draw for the Tulsa Roughnecks. The goals in that game were scored by Rodrigo DaCosta and Janu Silva.
Tulsa Roughnecks FC enter the match with a 8-15-10 record sitting 16th in the USL Championship Western Conference with 34 points. Tulsa Roughnecks last home match ended in dramatic fashion when Janu Silva scored in the 6th minute of added time, winning the game 2-1 with the last kick of the match vs New Mexico United.
Reno 1868 FC have a 17-10-6 overall record this season and currently sit in 2nd place, securing their spot in the USL Championship Playoffs. Forward, Corey Hertzog has been on form for Reno this season scoring 16 goals in 33 appearances.
Saturday’s match will be the final home match for Tulsa this season in the 2019 USL Championship. The first 500 fans will receive a free team poster thanks to Osage Casino & Hotel and TPSI Printers. The Tulsa Roustabout tailgate starts at Noon with gates opening at 2:00 P.M. CDT.
