Tulsa Roughnecks Sign Matt Sheldon
Tulsa, OK– Tulsa Roughnecks FC has signed 26-year-old Defender Matt Sheldon.
“I’m absolutely ecstatic to sign with the Tulsa Roughnecks for the 2019 season and make my re-entry back into the USL,” said Sheldon, “I can’t wait to get to Tulsa and start competing and working hard every single day to make this a successful season for the club.”
Sheldon played college soccer at UC Davis before moving on to play for the San Jose Earthquakes U23, Ventura County Fusion, Orange County Blues U-23, SG Kinzenbach, Saint Louis FC, and Waterside Karori.
“Matt is a good addition to the Roughnecks. He comes to work at a high level every day,” said Head Coach Michael Nsien, “Matt can play multiple positions, he will be pushing the standard of intensity at training. I’m looking forward to seeing Matt take advantage of this opportunity.”
