The Tulsa Roughnecks FC will have two players available for Saturday’s match with Real Monarchs who are on loan from its Major League Soccer affiliate, the Chicago Fire. Defender Nicolás Del Grecco and midfielder Mo Adams will be with the Roughnecks in Utah.
Del Grecco joined the Fire last month from Honduran side Club Deportivo Olimpia. His loan to the Roughnecks was finalized last week.
The Argentine made 12 league appearances for Olimpia, and also featured in a Concacaf Champions League match against the New York Red Bulls. Del Grecco has also spent time with Club Deportivo Libertad de Sunchales in the third division of his native country.
Adams, who is from Nottingham, England, will also be available for Saturday’s match. He has appeared in 14 MLS matches for the Fire this season, including 10 starts. He was a first-round pick, and tenth overall, in this year’s MLS SuperDraft out of Syracuse University.
The defensive midfielder spent two years with the Orange and earned All-ACC honors both seasons.
As a youth in England, Adams spent time in the Derby County and Nottingham Forest Academies.
Kickoff between the Roughnecks and the first-place Monarchs is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. CDT.
