Tulsa Roughnecks FC left back Iarfhlaith Davoren has been named to the USL Team of the Week. It is the fifth time this season that a Tulsa player has been placed on the elite squad.
Davoren earned his place on the team after helping the Roughnecks earn a 0-0 draw at Rio Grande Valley Sunday evening. He was a part of the back four that helped keep the Toros scoreless in a home match for only the second time this season.
Davoren was also wearing the captain’s armband for the Roughnecks in place of the suspended Sammy Ochoa.
Goalkeeper Alex Mangels, who recorded eight saves in the contest, earned an honorable mention spot on the Team of the Week.
