TULSA, Okla. (August 14, 2026) – FC Tulsa announced today that it has acquired defender Wilson Eisner on loan from Major League Soccer side San Diego FC, pending league and federation approval. He will be available for selection on Saturday, August 15 against New Mexico United.
“We are excited to have Wilson join us for the remainder of the season,” said Sporting Director and General Manager Caleb Sewell. “Wilson had a number of options, and we are glad he chose Tulsa. In Wilson, we are getting a very hard-working player that likes to get up and down and fits our team DNA.”
Eisner arrives in Oklahoma after starting the year with San Diego FC where he made seven total appearances between MLS and the CONCACAF Champions Cup which included an assist against UNAM Pumas in the opening round. Prior to this, the 24-year-old spent time within the San Jose Earthquakes system with The Town FC in MLS Next Pro where he helped their defense allow the fewest goals in the Western Conference in 2024 and 2025. He ranked second for the club in appearances (27), minutes played (2253) and clearances (24) in 2025.
Born in Menlo Park, California, Wilson played his collegiate soccer at Cornell University. There, he earned First Team All-Ivy League honors his freshman year in 2021 and Second Team honors in his junior year in 2023. Across 36 appearances including 34 starts, he compiled three goals and three assists.
