TULSA – FC Tulsa has signed forward Stefan Stojanovic for the 2024 USL Championship Season, pending league and federation approval.

“Stefan is a great addition to the team. He brings a physical presence to our front line and he has great instincts in front of goal,” Head Coach Mario Sanchez said. “Most importantly, he is a winner. He has the hunger and determination to make sure that we return to the playoffs this year!”
Stojanovic scored two goals in preseason matches. His first goal with FC Tulsa came during the 4-1 preseason win over Oral Roberts University on Saturday, February 3 and the second goal came against Tulsa Athletic on Wednesday, February 7.
Stojanovic played collegiately at Georgetown University where he recorded nine goals in 18 appearances.Prior to transferring to Georgetown, Stojanovic played two years at Saint Louis University where he played 29 matches, making 11 starts.
Stojanovic signed his first professional contract in 2022 with Philadelphia Union II during its MLS Next Pro inaugural campaign. The forward made 16 appearances with seven starts during the 2022 season, notching one goal with two assists. His lone goal came as a memorable stoppage-time winner against Columbus Crew 2.
Stojanovic was drafted with the 57th overall pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft by the Philadelphia Union and would return to the Philadelphia Union II for the 2023 season where he made 19 starts in 29 appearances and played over 1,700 minutes. During the 2023 season, Stojanovic led his club with 10 goals and was among the club leaders with 4 assists.The forward was also named 2023 MLS Next Pro Player of Matchday, scoring a pair of goals against Columbus Crew 2. In just their second season, Stojanovic helped lead the club to the MLS Next Pro Conference Quarterfinals.
Internationally, Stojanovic has notched 4 goals and appeared 11 times with the U.S. Youth National Team.
