TULSA – FC Tulsa announced today that club President Sam Doerr has stepped down from his role to accept a position with the USL league office.
“I want to thank the Craft family, the players, coaches, and the front office staff for everything they’ve done for the club, my family, and myself over the past 18 months,” said Doerr. “With the continued development of the FC Tulsa owned training facility, the future is bright for FC Tulsa.”
Prior to his departure, Sam finalized the 2024 roster build alongside the technical staff with several marquee signings to be announced in the coming weeks.
“We sincerely thank Sam for his commitment and unwavering dedication to the club since his arrival,” said Ryan Craft joint owner of FC Tulsa alongside his brothers, J.W. and Kyle. “We have enjoyed the high level that he operated at and know that we are in a tremendous position to continue our growth as a club and as a partner in the Tulsa community. We are excited to continue working with Sam through his new role at the USL league office.”
