Young Talent Begins to Return to the 2024 Roster
TULSA – One of the brightest young talents in American soccer, Nate Worth, is set to return to FC Tulsa for the 2024 season.
“I’m really excited to be returning to FC Tulsa for the 2024 season,” Worth said, “I’m looking forward to continuing the progress the team and I have made this last season and ultimately work to finish higher up on the table this season. I/m excited to see all of the new players and returning players to compete for playoffs and championship in front of our fans.”
Worth’s first professional goal was recorded in the last game of the season where FC Tulsa defeated Hartford Athletic 5-2.
Worth appeared 17 times with 9 starts for FC Tulsa and recorded 934 minutes played in the 2023 USL Championship season. He continued to show his knowledge of the game and ability throughout the season.
“Nate showed considerable progress in his development and we look forward to seeing his continued growth,” FC Tulsa head coach Blair Gavin said “His determination and fearless mindset are qualities we look for in players at Tulsa.”
Worth made his professional debut in June of 2022 with fellow USL Championship team New York Red Bulls II (now MLS Next Pro) where he recorded four starts and appeared seven times.
In November of 2022, Worth was placed on the United States U-16 roster where he capped three times in the U-16 Football Federations Cup and contributed to wins against England and Wales while serving as captain.
