TULSA – After a monster first half of the 2021 USL Championship season that included eight goals and four assists, FC Tulsa’s Rodrigo da Costa is one of five nominees for the league’s Midseason Most Valuable Player, an award that will be decided via fan vote.
In the midst of a historic season, da Costa leads FC Tulsa in goals, assists, chances created and shots on target. At the USL Championship’s midway point on August 8, da Costa also placed in the Top 10 in the league in goals, assists and chances created.
Da Costa joins Hadji Barry from Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, Ronaldo Damus from Orange County SC, Neco Brett from Birmingham Legion FC and Solomon Asante from Phoenix Rising FC as finalists for the Midseason MVP honor.
