First look at First team
Last weekend’s match against Oklahoma Wesleyan saw 23 players take the pitch over the 90 minutes, with FC Tulsa Head Coach Michael Nsien testing the waters on how the 2020 squad would play together. He said after the match that Sunday’s squad will begin to look like the starting XI that will take the field in the regular season.
“We have been overloading the sessions so now we can be put into a normal routine like the season,” he said following the 2-0 victory on Saturday. “So, we will recover from the match, go hard early in the week and then taper down so we can start to make selections and see which guys we identify for our first eleven.”
