TULSA, Oklahoma (Friday, October 4th, 2019) – Tomorrow evening Tulsa Roughnecks FC will host Sacramento Republic in USL Western Conference play. Kickoff from ONEOK Field (Tulsa, OK) is set for 7:00 P.M. CDT and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
This USL Championship match will be the second time the two sides meet this season. The first match at Papa Murphy’s Park (Sacramento, CA) ended in a 6-0 loss for the Tulsa Roughnecks.
Tulsa Roughnecks FC enter the match with a 7-13-11 record sitting 16th in the USL Championship Western Conference with 31 points. Tulsa Roughnecks last match was 1-1 tie against Tacoma Defiance. The sides only goal in Tacoma was scored by forward Toby Uzo. After scoring the first goal of that game Uzo received his second yellow card and was sent off in that match, he will be unavailable for selection against Sacramento Republic.
Sacramento Republic have a 13-12-6 overall record and a 5-8-2 away record. Sacramento currently sit in 6th in the Western Conference and will be pushing to finish high in the standings. Cameron Iwasa leads the Republic scoring 13 goals in 27 appearances. University of Tulsa (NCAA D1) graduate and Tulsa Athletic (NPSL) midfielder Ray Sarri has been out of Sacramento Republic’s travelling roster but will be a player Roughnecks Head Coach Michael Nsien will know well.
Saturdays match will host the 10th annual Harvest Beer Festival with more than 60 breweries lining the ONEOK Field concourse. Gates for the Harvest Beer Festival will open at 5pm, with gates for the match opening at 6pm.
