TULSA, Oklahoma (Friday, September 27th, 2019) – Tomorrow evening Tulsa Roughnecks FC will play Tacoma Defiance in USL Western Conference play. Kickoff from Cheney Stadium (Tacoma, WA) is set for 9:00 P.M. CDT and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
This USL Championship match will be the second time the two sides meet this season. The first match at ONEOK Field (Tulsa, OK) ended in a 4-0 win for Tulsa with goals coming from Hedrick, Altamirano and Luca Lobo scoring twice.
Tulsa Roughnecks FC enter the match with a 7-13-10 record sitting 16th in the USL Championship Western Conference with 30 points. Tacoma Defiance sit 18th in the table, 10 points less that Tulsa. The last playoff spot currently sits at 39 points.
Tulsa Roughnecks FC go into tonight’s match following Wednesdays victory over San Antonio FC. Goals on Wednesday came from Toby Uzo, Marlon, Altamirano and Mompremier scoring the game winner, his first professional goal.
Tacoma Defiance have a 5-19-5 overall record and a 5-7-2 home record. Leading the Defiance is Justin Dhillon scoring 10 goals in 21 appearances. Nicholas Hinds and Shandon Hopeau both have three assists on the season so far.
