Monday night the Tulsa Roughnecks played their second preseason match of the 2019 season against Oral Roberts University. The game was played at the newly opened State of the art Titan Sports Complex and The Roughnecks came away with the 2-0 victory. The games only two goals were scored by Rodrigo DaCosta and Luca Lobo. Head Coach Michael Nsien played 25 players including the much anticipated preseason debut for Cristhian Altamirano, an International player from Honduras who joined the team just this week.
“Every week we are getting better in our particular areas of focus, which we showed tonight” said Michael Nsien (Head Coach, Tulsa Roughnecks), “the players are showing good attitude towards taking in new information and understanding their teammates. The next month is very important that we grow in the other phases of the game. Always good to shut out the opposition.”
The Roughnecks next preseason match is this Saturday, again at Titan Sports Complex where they will play Swope Park Rangers of the USL Championship Western Conference (Sporting KC’s 2nd team) Entry is free for this preseason game and kicks off at 1:00pm CT.
