Tulsa Roughnecks Announce Assistant Coaching Staff
Tulsa, OK – Tulsa Roughnecks FChas announced the coaching staff that will assist Head Coach Michael Nsien during the 2019 season.
Donovan Ricketts has been named 1stAssistant and Goalkeeper Coach.
“We are pleased to have Donovan Ricketts returning in a larger role this season,” said Head Coach Michael Nsien, “I believe that his experience on the field and in the locker room will help shape the high standards that we are setting for ourselves and for our players.”
Ricketts, who originally hales from Montego Bay, Jamaica, has played for Wabadah, Seba United, Galaxy F.C., Village United, Bolton Wanderers, Bradford City, LA Galaxy, Montreal Impact, Portland Timbers, Orlando City, and the Tulsa Roughnecks. He was also named MLS Goalkeeper of the Year in 2010 and 2013 and was chosen first by Orlando City SC in the 2014 MLS Expansion Draft.
Alex Miranda has been named 2ndAssistant Coach and Analysis/Opposition Scout.
“Alex Miranda is an extremely positive addition to our staff,” said Nsien, “Alex will contribute in many aspects but will primarily focus on scouting and analysis.”
Miranda, who currently serves as Executive Director of Northeastern Oklahoma Football Club, currently holds his USSF A license and holds a masters of sports science.
