The Tulsa Roughnecks FC is back on the road tonight, Wednesday, September 5, for its first of two meetings this season with the Seattle Sounders FC 2. Kickoff at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Washington is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. CDT. It will be the fourth of five straight away matches for TRFC.
Tulsa will enter the match coming off three straight one-goal losses to the Real Monarchs, Saint Louis FC and the Swope Park Rangers. The Roughnecks are 2-5-3 since Michael Nsien took over the team.
The Sounders 2 are 5-6-2 at home this season. Seattle has not lost at home since July 8, going 2-0-2 in its last four home matches.
Last year, Tulsa won both of its matches against Seattle and is 5-0-0 all-time against S2.
The Sounders 2 are 1-2-2 in their last five matches, and are currently in 16th place in the Western Conference. The Roughnecks are without a win away from ONEOK Field, going 0-7-5 in 12 away matches.
