The Tulsa Roughnecks have announced the club has added Mexican forward Isaac Diaz. Diaz has completed all registration and is eligible to play in Saturday night’s match in Colorado Springs.
The 25-year-old native of Guadalajara Mexico comes to Tulsa after playing in four USL games for Las Vegas earlier this season on loan from Mexican side Mineros de Zacatecas. He picked up one assist during his brief time with the Lights, and it came in a 2-2 draw with the Roughnecks.
Diaz has had two stints with Zacatecas, but has also spent time with Tecos and LorosUdeC in Mexico. In 2014, he joined C.F. Pachuca of Liga MX but did not appear in a match with the club.
The speedy, 5’8” Diaz will provide new TRFC Head Coach Michael Nsien with an additional attacking option.
