The Tulsa Roughnecks FC will begin a new era this week as Tulsa native Mike Nsien makes his debut as the team’s head coach. Nsien will debut with two matches at ONEOK Field this week. On Wednesday, June 27, TRFC will take on the Los Angeles Galaxy II in its second meeting this season, and on Saturday, June 30 the Roughnecks will take on Las Vegas Lights FC in its second meeting. Both matches will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. in downtown Tulsa.
Wednesday is Bark in the Park and Buck Night at the stadium, with fans invited to bring their dogs to the game while also having the chance to enjoy $1 beers, sodas and hot dogs. The Roughnecks will also celebrate local soccer teams that won Oklahoma High School State Titles in a Night of Champions.
All of Wednesday’s activities are presented by City of Tulsa: Save our Streams, City Vet Hospital, FOX23 and 97.1 The Sports Animal.
The action will continue Saturday when there will be a post-match fireworks extravaganza celebrating Independence Day. It is also Military Appreciation Night, so any active or retired military member will receive two free tickets to the terrace or family stand section. Fans will also have an opportunity to play disc golf at ONEOK Field from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. For $25 per person, a round of disc golf and a special disc will be included.

The Roughnecks are still in search of their first win of the season after falling 6-1 last weekend in California against Orange County. TRFC is on a three-game losing streak and is 0-8-7 on the season.
The Los Angeles Galaxy II enter Wednesday’s match having dropped its last two matches against Orange County and Oklahoma City. Their last win came on June 2 at home against the Roughnecks, despite Tulsa controlling much of the play and possession. The Galaxy II have 15 points and are 3-8-4 on the season.
On Saturday, Tulsa will host the expansion side Las Vegas Lights FC for the first time. The Roughnecks played Las Vegas to a 1-1 draw in a controversial game back on May 5. The Lights come to Tulsa coming off a 3-2 loss to Swope Park. Las Vegas has 14 points and is 4-6-4 on the season.
Tickets for both matches are available online by clicking HERE, or over the phone at (918) 744-5901 or in person at the stadium ticket office. Youth players who wear their team’s jersey can obtain any level ticket in the seating bowl or on the grass berm for just $5.
Fans in Tulsa who are unable to attend this weekend’s matches can still watch the action live on Cox YurView channel 1333.
The matches will also be streamed live on ESPN+ for fans with a subscription to the service.

First, canine owners are invited to bring their dogs to the stadium to enjoy the match from the grass berms. Dogs with proper vaccination records will be admitted through the Arvest and Oil Derrick Entrances.
It is also Buck Night, with fans able to enjoy $1 soft drinks and hot dogs. Fans ages 21 and over can also enjoy $1 beers!
In addition, it will be a Night of Champions at ONEOK Field. The Roughnecks will be honoring local soccer teams that who won Oklahoma High School State Championships this year.

The Roughnecks return to ONEOK Field with their second of two meetings this season against the Las Vegas Lights FC. We have some great promotions that will make it another exciting night at the stadium.
First, fans will be able to play a round of disc golf at the stadium! From 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., for $25, a unique disc golf course will be set up around the stadium and on the field. A special Roughnecks and Drillers disc will be included.
In addition, kids will have an opportunity to sharpen their soccer skills with the Roughnecks players. The Arvest Gate will open at 6:00 p.m. for the clinic, and it will run from 6:15 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
It is also Military Appreciation Night at the stadium. Fans that are active or retired military, who show their military ID, will receive two free tickets in the Family Stand or Terrace.
Minutes after the conclusion of the match, fans will get to watch fireworks light up the Tulsa skyline in a post-match Fireworks Extravaganza.
