The Tulsa Roughnecks F.C. again travels to the Pacific Time Zone on Saturday, May 5 for its third straight away match, and its first-ever meeting with the Las Vegas Lights FC. Kickoff on Saturday is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. CDT at Cashman Field in Las Vegas. It will be Tulsa’s first-ever meeting with the USL expansion side.
The Roughnecks enter the match on a three-game unbeaten streak, but still looking for their first win of the season. TRFC has 3 points on the season with a 0-3-3 record. The three draws came in the last three matches as the Roughnecks finished the month of April without a defeat.
Las Vegas currently has 9 points with a 2-1-3 record.
Tulsa is 0-1-2 in three previous road matches this season while the Lights are 1-1-2 in four home games.
The Las Vegas roster includes two former TRFC players in forward Sammy Ochoa and midfielder Julian Portugal. Ochoa is Tulsa’s all-time leading scorer with 20 career goals with the Roughnecks.
Saturday’s match marks the beginning of a busy month of May for TRFC. Tulsa will play five USL regular season matches, in addition to at least one match in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
