TULSA, Okla. (August 12, 2026) – FC Tulsa announced today that it has signed midfielder William Wilson for the rest of the 2026 season, pending league and federation approval. He will be available for selection on Saturday, August 15 against New Mexico United.
“We’re delighted to welcome Will and his fiancée to Tulsa” said Sporting Director and General Manager Caleb Sewell. “Will is an aggressive two-way player, likes to play forward quickly, has a great engine and can play in different positions for us. He has played on some big stages, and we look forward to Will helping us with our objectives towards the end of the season.”
Wilson arrives in Oklahoma after spending the last year in the Finnish first division with Vaasan Palloseura where he helped them to a current fourth place standing in their 2026 campaign. Prior to this, he spent five seasons in the A-League in Australia split between Melbourne Victory FC and Central Coast Mariners FC which included an AFC Cup trophy won with the Mariners in 2024.
Born in Melbourne, Australia, Wilson spent time in the youth academy for Melbourne Victory FC. At the international level, the 24-year-old has totaled 14 appearances for the Kenyan National Team which included a stoppage time equalizer in his debut against Gambia on March 20, 2025 in AFCON World Cup Qualifying.
