The Scissortails are on a tear defensively since resuming regular season play and have seen the offense also begin to come into its own as partnerships are forming in the attack. They welcome in a Sacramento side with a similarly stingy defense that is also riding high with eight goals in their last two matches.

Greenwood Night: Promotional highlights of Wednesday’s match include an FC Tulsa “Greenwood Forever” shirt giveaway designed by Mythic Press for the first 500 fans at the gate. “Mr. Greenwood” Tony Williams will deliver the match ball with Diamond Divas to perform at halftime. A moment of silence will also be held for victims of the Tulsa Race Massacre and to honor the life of Viola Fletcher, the last survivor who passed away last November.
FC Tulsa were victorious last week on the Monongahela River in a rematch of last season’s USL Championship Final against Pittsburgh RIverhounds SC. Logan Dorsey’s strike from outside the box in the 13th minute proved to be the match winner as the back line extended the club’s stretch without conceding a goal to 300 minutes, the longest stretch in club history in the regular season.
