San Diego Loyal FC Captain brings his leadership to FC Tulsa for 2024
TULSA – Midfielder Charlie Adams has signed with FC Tulsa for the 2024 USL season.
The England native joins FC Tulsa after spending four seasons with San Diego Loyal SC where he carved a distinguished reputation as a dynamic force on the field.
In the 2023 season, Adams played 1,824 minutes with 27 appearances. His attacking contribution was highlighted with a well-earned goal coupled with an exceptional passing accuracy of 88.1 percent.
Notable, Adams donned the captain’s armband for San Diego Loyal FC over multiple seasons exemplifying his leadership qualities and commitment to his team.
In the 2021 season, Adams left an indelible mark recording one goal and four assists in 33 games. His influence extended to leading the squad in minutes played totaling an impressive 2,614.
As a star midfielder for the club, Adams exhibited remarkable passing precision with an accuracy of 89.5 percent for 1,579 passes in the 2021 season.
Beyond offensive mastery, Adams showed off his defensive capabilities in 2021 tallying 64 interceptions and winning 58 percent of his challenges.
On the pitch for Real Monarchs from 2016 to 2018, Adams played a pivotal role amassing an impressive record of eight goals in 62 games during his tenure.
Adams’ journey in the United States began in 2015 where he quickly made a significant impact with Louisville City in the USL Championship.
Previous to his time at Louisville City, Adams spent 2012 to 2014 in England playing for Stevenage FC, Bernet, and Brentford.
