Match to Take Place Between April 19-21, Kickoff Time TBD
TULSA – FC Tulsa will get its shot at an MLS team. During Friday morning’s U.S. Open Cup Third Round Draw, FC Tulsa was drawn to travel to FC Dallas. It will be just the second competitive match against an MLS team in the club’s history and the first in the FC Tulsa-era of the franchise. These same teams faced off in the Fourth Round of the 2017 U.S. Open Cup with Dallas winning at home 2-1.
The match will be played between April 19-21 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco with a kickoff time TBD. Ticket and all match details for FC Tulsa fans will be announced in the coming days.
FC Dallas is a two-time U.S. Open Cup winner with titles in 1997 and 2016. When the sides met on June 14, 2017, current FC Tulsa players Bradley Bourgeois, Jorge Corrales and Joaquín Rivas all started for the Roughnecks. In that match, the sides were tied at 1-1 heading into stoppage time when an unfortunate own goal from Tulsa gave FC Dallas the victory.
