

Caleb Sewell
Sewell joins FC Tulsa after leading Memphis 901 FC to a top-four seed in each of the past three seasons, becoming the lone club to do so in the past five years. His success in shaping talent and building strong teams stems from a foundation laid during his own distinguished playing career. A former MLS veteran, he played goalkeeper for both New York Red Bulls and Toronto FC, where he reached two MLS Cup Finals during his career. An 18-year professional, he also spent six years playing in Portugal’s Premier League, Primeira Liga, while playing for 14 senior clubs.

Luke Spencer
Spencer enters the helm after spending the 2024 season as an assistant coach for the club. A proven winner, Spencer was a former Louisville City FC forward, leading them to their 2018 USL Championship Final victory. Retiring as a player in 2020, Spencer served as Assistant Academy Director and Recruitment Coordinator with Louisville City FC. Soon after, Spencer took over as the Director of Louisville City’s Youth Academy. Spencer played four seasons of college soccer at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was drafted by New England Revolution in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft.

Alexis Vizarelis
Vizarelis joins FC Tulsa as one of the region’s most accomplished goalkeeping coaches. A native of Chelmsford, Essex, his 22-year coaching career spans notable positions across Oklahoma soccer. His roles have included goalkeeper coach for OKC Energy FC, Head of Goalkeeping for the Oklahoma Energy FC youth program, and assistant coach at the University of Oklahoma. He has also shaped goalkeeping talent at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO), working with both the men’s and women’s programs.

Gabriel Zapponi
Gabriel Zapponi, a Brazilian-born coach originally from Rio de Janeiro, returns to the state where his American soccer journey first took shape. He previously competed as a student-athlete at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College before launching a coaching career that has spanned collegiate soccer, USL League Two, NASL, and the USL Championship.
Most recently, Zapponi spent four seasons with Indy Eleven, serving as Assistant Coach and Director of Sports Performance. In addition to his work with the professional side, he played a key role in the club’s academy pathway, including leading the U-20 team to an undefeated conference title in 2023. His professional résumé also includes impactful tenures with El Paso Locomotive FC, Jacksonville Armada FC, and Nona FC, contributing to multiple playoff runs and conference final appearances.
Before transitioning into coaching, Zapponi developed through the youth academy of Fluminense Futebol Clube, one of Brazil’s most respected first-division clubs, where he spent seven formative years. He later continued his playing career in the United States, competing at NEO and with the UCF Knights men’s soccer, while earning a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science and a master’s degree in Leadership and Organizational Development.

Leandro Spinola
Spinola brings 24 years of experience in player development to FC Tulsa. He arrives from Memphis 901 FC, where he served as Director of Sports Science for two seasons, working closely with FC Tulsa’s Sporting Director and General Manager, Caleb Sewell. A native of Brazil, his career includes a seven-year tenure as Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Corinthians Paulista, one of Brazil’s top clubs where he worked with players such as Gabriel Moscardo (PSG), Murillo (Nottingham Forrest), and Carlos Augusto (Inter Milan). Leandro holds a bachelors degree in physical education and a masters degree in Human Development and Technologies. Leandro is joined by his wife and two children in Tulsa.

DESTINY LAlaGUNA
Lalaguna, MS, LAT, ATC joins FC Tulsa after serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with Phoenix Rising FC from 2023 to 2025, where she was part of the club’s 2023 USL Championship-winning season. Prior to her time in Phoenix, she was the Head Athletic Trainer for Barca Residency Academy in MLS Next. Lalaguna began her athletic training career as an intern within the Real Salt Lake organization, working with Real Monarchs during the 2019 season, which culminated in a USL Championship title with the Monarchs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from Montana State University-Billings and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Weber State University. In addition to her credentials as a licensed (LAT) and certified (ATC) athletic trainer, Lalaguna is certified in Spinal Manipulation, Dry Needling, and holds a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) certification.

Alnoor Hasham
Hasham brings extensive experience in soccer operations, logistics, and international competition to FC Tulsa. Prior to joining the club, he served as the football operations coordinator at Pacific FC (Canadian Premier League), where he played a key role in managing game day logistics, player support, and major events. He holds a FIFA TMS certification, a post-degree diploma in sports management, and a technical director diploma from Canada Soccer. Currently pursuing an MSc in Sporting Directorship, Hasham’s background spans administration, hospitality, and global sports management—making him a vital asset in driving FC Tulsa’s operational excellence.
