Yosef Concludes Collegiate Career with 27 Goals and 18 Assists
TULSA – FC Tulsa is adding an NCAA College Cup champion and two-time All-American to fortify its attacking corps in the upcoming season. Milo Yosef, the forward from Marshall University, is Tulsa bound in 2023 pending league and federation approval.
Yosef, a 6’3” winger from Aachen, Germany, joins FC Tulsa after four seasons spent at Marshall during which he solidified himself as a top talent at the collegiate level and chronicled his legacy in the Marshall history books. His 27 goals are fifth-most in program history and his 18 assists rank third.
“Milo has great size, pace, and technical ability that allows him to glide with the ball,” said FC Tulsa head coach Blair Gavin. “This has proven to be very difficult for opponents as he has consistently been a difference maker and we look forward to having him in Tulsa.”
As a redshirt freshman in 2019, Yosef erupted onto the NCAA soccer scene with a staggering 12 goals to pair with three assists. He led Conference USA in every major attacking statistic and won a plethora of Conference awards including Offensive MVP, Freshman of the Year, All-Conference USA First Team, and a handful of weekly awards. Yosef’s head-turning campaign culminated in the first-ever United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-America award in Marshall history as well as an All-Southeast Region team recognition.
Following his sensational freshman season, Yosef appeared on the 2020 MAC Hermann Trophy Preseason Watch List ahead of his upcoming sophomore campaign and concluded it as an NCAA College Cup title winner following Marshall’s 1-0 win over No. 3 Indiana in the championship match.
Yosef’s 2022 senior season was another fantastic display of the forward’s dynamic skill set as he earned the second All-America Second Team award of his collegiate career. In addition, Yosef finished as a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist and was titled the Sun Belt Men’s Soccer Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year with eight goals and three assists.
“I can’t wait to start the season in 2023 and I’m really looking forward to coming to Tulsa, connecting with the community, and making incredible memories,” said Yosef. “Let’s make this year special.”
