Roger Bonet, known as Ruxi, was signed by FC Tulsa following two consecutive seasons spent in top-flight Finland ahead of the 2023 USL Championship season.
2022 – FC INTER TURKU (VEIKKAUSLIIGA)
Ruxi signed with Inter Turku for the 2022 campaign where the center-back had a career year. He scored three goals, a single-season career high, in 22 league appearances. Across all competitions, he appeared 40 times in total and once again finish in the top-three in minutes played among all Veikkausliiga competitors (2,336).
In addition, he started for Inter Turku in the Finnish Cup and also played all 90 minutes of the club’s two UEFA Europa Conference League Qualifiers against FC Drita in July.
2021 – AC OULU (VEIKKAUSLIIGA)
Ruxi joined up with AC Oulu in 2021 where he would make 30 appearances across all competitions and finish top-three in the league in minutes played (2,340).
2020 – KOTKAN TYÖVÄEN PALLOILIJAT (YKKÖNEN)
2020 marked Ruxi’s first season playing in Finland as the defender signed with second-division FC KTP. In 28 appearances across all competitions, the Spaniard bagged two goals and logged the first two assists of his professional career en route to his club earning a top-flight promotion for the first time since 2014.
Ruxi also finished second in the league’s Defender of the Year voting.
2019 – UMF AFTURELDING (LENGJUDEILD)
After a brief stint with Formentera, Ruxi signed with Icelandic side UMF Afturelding to condlude the 2019 season. He appeared 10 times for the club and scored one goal.
2019 – SD FORMENTERA (SEGUNDA FEDERACIÓN)
Ruxi competed with SD Formenerta, a club operating in Spain’s fourth division, for a promotion in its playoff-style tournament. Ruxi appeared twice for the club during this competition. League stats are unavailable.
2017-2018 – CLUB RÁPIDO DE BOUZAS (SEGUNDA DIVISIÓN B)
Ruxi was loaned to Club Rápido de Bouzas for the remainder of the 2017-2018 season where he made 10 appearances in league play. In addition, Ruxi also made one Copa del Ray appearance and appeared once in Copa Federation.
2016-2017 – UE OLOT (SEGUNDA FEDERACIÓN)
The defender’s spent one season with UE Olot on loan from Gimnástic de Tarragona. Stats for this season are unavailable.
2016-2018 – GIMNÁSTIC DE TARRAGONA (PRIMERA FEDERACIÓN)
Ruxi kicked off his career with Gimnástic de Tarragona in 2016 before being loaned to UE Olot the same season. He would then return to Gimnástic for the 2017/2018 season.
Upon returning to Gimnástic de Tarragona in 2017, Ruxi was in the squad for a La Liga 2 match during the season and also went on to win the 2017 Catalonian Cup with his squad before he was loaned to Club Rápido be Bouzas for the remainder of the campaign.
