Weah was was acquired by FC Tulsa via loan from Minnesota United FC 2 on May 30, 2023.
2021-2023 – MINNESOTA UNITED FC/MINNESOTA UNITED FC 2 (MLS/MLS NEXT PRO)
Weah signed with Minnesota United FC as a homegrown player on March 4, 2021. He made two substitute appearances for the MLS club totaling 20 minutes and also spent two weeks training with La Liga’s Real Bettis. Weah would eventually be loaned to the USL Championship’s Sacramento Republic FC to finish out the 2021 campaign.
The winger suffered an injury in 2022 that required ACL surgery in his left knee, causing Weah to miss the entirety of the season.
Weah returned to Minnesota in 2023 where he appeared seven times for its MLS NEXT Pro squad before being loaned to Tulsa. In 315 minutes played, Weah scored two goals and registered one assist.
2021 – SACRAMENTO REPUBLIC FC (USL CHAMPIONSHIP)
While on loan to Sacramento in 2021, Weah appeared seven times with two starts, totaling 198 minutes played.
COLLEGE
Weah played all of three matches at Saint Louis University for the Billikens in the pandemic-defined 2020 season with one goal before signing with Minnesota United FC’s youth academy.
YOUTH
Upon moving to Minnesota from Liberia, Weah played at Wayzata High School where he finished as the state runner-up as a freshman before winning the state championship as a sophomore. Weah was named the Minnesota State Player of the Year after his championship run.
