FC Tulsa inked left-back Brett Levis to a multi-year deal ahead of the 2023 season.
2020-2022 – VALOUR FC (CANADIAN PREMIER LEAGUE)
Levis joins FC Tulsa after an impressive 2022 campaign with Valour FC in which he appeared 22 times for his squad, accounting for two goals and an assist. Following the season, Levis was named to the 2022 CPL Team of the Year for his year-long performance. The full-back also played one match in the Canadian Championship tournament, the equivalent to Canada’s US Open Cup.
Between the 2020 and 2021 seasons with Valour FC, Levis totaled 21 appearances with a goal and two assists.
2018-2019 – VANCOUVER WHITECAPS FC (MLS)
Levis appeared 23 times in MLS competition for Vancouver Whitecaps FC between the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
2015-2017 – VANCOUVER WHITECAPS FC 2 / VANCOUVER WHITECAPS FC (USL CHAMPIONSHIP / MLS)
2017 was a disappointing year for Levis who missed nearly the entire season with an injury. He hit the pitch five times for Whitecaps FC 2 in USL Championship play, but did make four appearances with three starts in CONCACAF Champions League competition between 2016 and 2017.
Levis once again sparkled in 2016, just as he did the season prior. The left-back scored four goals for the second time in back to back seasons and appeared 24 times for Whitecaps FC 2. The club finished sixth in the Western Conference and would make it all the way to the Conference Finals before losing to Swope Park Rangers. Levis played all 90 minutes of each of the club’s playoff matches, including its 3-2 win over OKC Energy FC. Levis also made his MLS debut with Whitecaps FC on October 23 vs. Portland Timbers as a substitute, marking his only MLS appearance of the season.
The Canadian native kicked off his professional career in 2015 with Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 in the USL Championship. A dazzling season ended in 20 appearances for Levis with four goals and two assists as he quickly broke onto the USL Championship scene as a top defensive talent.
