TULSA – Soccer fans in Tulsa now have another option to follow their favorite professional soccer club. FC Tulsa released its Official App on Friday morning and is now available to download on the App Store and Google Play Store. Fans can access and purchase tickets to FC Tulsa matches, find standings, stats and scores from around the USL Championship and sign up to receive push notifications of goals, scores and breaking news about the club.
“Our app will take our supporters' fandom of FC Tulsa to the next level,” said FC Tulsa president James Cannon. “The rallying cry in our office has been #ForTulsa, so to be able to provide this for our fans and our city to follow FC Tulsa is cool. I look forward to our fans engaging with the club through the app this season.”
Inside the app, fans will be able to keep up with the latest news surround the team and read stories, watch videos and follow FC Tulsa’s latest tweets. A full schedule and FC Tulsa roster can also be found within the app as fans get to know the players throughout the season.
One of the most notable features is the ability to sign up for push notifications to be alerted about match activities such as Starting XI, kickoff, goals, substitutions and final score. Not only that, fans with the app will receive exclusive offers on FC Tulsa merch and tickets, all through push notifications.
To celebrate the release of its Official App, FC Tulsa will announce its club captain for the 2020 season on Saturday morning exclusively through the app before making the announcement to the general public. All users who download the app in the first 24 hours and sign up to allow push notifications will be notified of this breaking news first.
FC Tulsa begins its 2020 USL Championship season on Saturday night at Sacramento Republic FC with kickoff scheduled for 9:30 p.m. CT. The match will be shown locally on My41 Tulsa as a part of FC Tulsa’s historic partnership with Cox Media Group and Fox23.
