Kevin Garcia re-signed with FC Tulsa on a new contract prior to the 2021 USL Championship season.
Garcia was initially signed by FC Tulsa just before the start of the 2020 season on February 28, after spending the previous four seasons with the Houston Dynamo FC organization. Garcia played every minute of the 2020 season for FC Tulsa, one of three players to start and finish all 16 matches.
He ranked 1st on the club in blocks and interceptions and 2nd in clearances in 2020.
2017-2019 - HOUSTON DYNAMO FC
Garcia's standout 2016 season earned him a contract with the Dynamo in 2017 and over the next three seasons, Garcia would make 38 appearances for Houston in MLS. He was a part of the Dynamo’s 2018 U.S. Open Cup title-winning team, making four appearances for Houston in the tournament, and also scored his first MLS regular season goal that same season.
Garcia made 12 appearances for Houston in 2019 and made his CONCACAF Champions League debut against Tigres UANL of Liga MX.
2016 - RIO GRANDE VALLEY FC TOROS
As the RGV FC Toros’ captain in 2016, Garcia led the league’s second-best defense (which also included current teammate Bradley Bourgeois), allowing just 24 goals in 30 matches. That season included a streak where the Toros held opponents scoreless for over 800 consecutive minutes, a league record that still stands. RGV FC made the USL Championship Playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference that season.
2015 - VÄSTERÅS SK (SWEDEN)
Just before coming back to the U.S., Garcia went back to Sweden and played for Västerås SK in the Second Division. He made 11 regular season appearances and one appearance in a Svenska Cupen match (Sweden's main Cup competition). He played every minute of his 12 appearances including a full 120 in the Cup match that went to extra time.
2015 - GALWAY UNITED FC (IRELAND)
Garcia joined Galway United FC, of the League of Ireland Premier League, for the first half of 2015. He made 11 appearances, eight starts.
2013-2015 - IFK LULEÅ (SWEDEN)
From 2013-2015, Garcia played in the Swedish Third division for IFK Luleå, making 32 appearances and scoring his first two professional goals.
2013 - ICON FC (USASA)
Garcia made one start in the 2013 U.S. Open Cup for Icon FC of the USASA. Icon FC was an amateur club that advanced to the second round of the Open Cup in 2013 before falling to the Richmond Kickers, then of the USL Championship, 4-1. In the match, Garcia recorded an assist, one of just two in his entire post-collegiate soccer career.
Garcia was a four-year starter with the Villanova Wildcats from 2008-2011, scoring six goals and seven assists in his college career. He was a 3rd round selection in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft by the New England Revolution.
